You can pick your favorite image, the one you feel should be in third place, or one you feel deserves an honorary vote. It's up to you!
Thank you all for your artwork these past several months! I thought it'd be nice to showcase them altogether at once.
Here's my artwork for Elesaru, Relighted, guodaaiko, Elf-from-a-lake, and MayflowerPowerHour.
Elesaru, Relighted, guodaaiko, Elf-from-a-lake, and MayflowerPowerHour's artwork for me.
Hello, hello! It’s been too long since I’ve made any posts on Deviant Art, but today is extremely special. Today, my little video game, Fleshport, has finally been published. You can download it on Steam, Itch.io, or GameJolt.
I don’t have the words to accurately express how I’m feeling. Development on Fleshport has been my life for the past five years. More than anything, completing this game has been a real test of will. Some days I failed, and other days I won. There’s been so much I’ve had to fight through to get here, most of it within myself. It’s been hard. At times I’ve worried about how the full game will be received, but now I’m just happy and thankful that it’s done. It’s done. I made it, this is the finish line for this chapter in my life. I had fun at times, I got angry at times, and I learned a lot.
The success of Fleshport will reveal what paths are available for me to take next. If my game earns me enough funds, I could start another project. If not, I could go back to school or work on getting hired by a development team. I’ll always have options.
Thank you, to everyone; To the people who have shared my announcements, to the people who drew fanart for me, to the people who joined contests, to the folks who help out in the RPG Maker Forums, to my friends and family for their support and patience, to the YouTubers who played my game, to my tippers, and all those who left me such wonderful comments about my work that I didn’t expect to hear.
I hope to be posting more art and videos now that I can take a long break. Take care and have a fun and safe Halloween!
A lot of things have happened since then!
November was a big and wonderful month for me, as that was the month that Fleshport's demo gained some notoriety amongst Let's Players. I've had the honor of various gamers playing Fleshport, including the following: Alpha Beta Gamer, ManlyBadassHero, Ionprime, Neco The Sergal, chaoticwolph, and RiskRim.
This has inspired an outpouring of enthusiasm from a lot of new fans who want to see the rest of the game. Aside from the new following and all the comments on those videos, I've also received new fan art and a couple tips here and there for my work.
At the beginning of this year, I posted a new Oc Court of Justice video, where I reviewed AlminToms' character, Alexandria Agape.
This was the debut of my channel revamp, where I upgraded a lot of my art assets and changed up the OCCOJ a little.
The 20th of March marked the 5th anniversary of Fleshport's development. In this post, I go into detail about that. I'm quite pleased with the progress that has been made, and my last beta tester had a lot of encouraging things to say about their experience.
I still find myself very low on energy, and that slows progress down. I've been looking for solutions, but I haven't quite figured out what to do yet. Either way, I'm pushing onward and upward. Thank you all for sticking with me, and I hope you continue to enjoy my creations!
Hello, everyone on here! I have not been on Deviant Art for... Quite some time.
Halloween is coming up and I have the perfect way to celebrate it...
I’m very proud to announce that a demo and demo trailer for Fleshport has been released! I've been working on my game for about 4 years and 7 months now. It's taken quite a bit longer than anticipated, but the important part is that I'm continuously moving forward, right?
The game is complete and has been tested many, many times. It just needs some polishing up, which is why I felt brave enough to release the demo.
I do hope you all come check it out, and it'd mean the world to me if you shared this news via Deviant Art, re-tweeting this post, passing around the demo trailer, or by any other means.
Thank you all for being here with me on this journey, even though a lot of it has been behind the curtain. Have a good day, and I hope to give you another update soon!
